Pierre Pauze. Project Water Memory

The artist Pierre Pauze (Meudon, France, 1990) presented on 29th March in the Observatori hall a presentation about the process developed during his residence in Mallorca.

Throughout February and March 2017, this artist has been working on his “Water Memory” project thanks to a work residence within the framework of “The Spur”. This is a European project led by Bòlit, Centre d’Art Contemporani de l’Ajuntament de Girona with the participation of Es Baluard, LE LAIT – Laboratoire Artistique Internationale du Tarn (Albi, France), Bureau des Arts et des Territoires of Montpelier (France), Sputnik Oz of Bratislava (Slovakia) and Fondazione per l’Arte of Rome (Italy).

Es Baluard has collaborated with Addaya Centre d’Art Contemporani (Alaró, Mallorca) for the stay of the resident artist. This art centre has taken part in various European projects. The curator Tolo Cañellas has been selected in this call as mentor of the resident artist.
