The exhibition "Waste Lands", Co-produced by Es Baluard, in the museum San Telmo in San Sebastián

The San Telmo museum, in Donostia, is showing from 4th March to 21st May "Waste Lands", a group exhibition curated by Piedad Solans and co-produced by Es Baluard, where was seen from March to June 2016.

This exhibition, with variations on the version presented in Mallorca, brings together works by 13 female artists from countries such as Afghanistan, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Lebanon, Morocco and Palestine. It tackles, from 2000 until today, landscapes and urban, social, anthropological and archaeological environments in countries destroyed and impoverished. Through languages such as sculpture, installation, video, photography, books and graphic novels, "Waste Lands" reflects usurped lands and looted goods, places of blood, crimes and daily attacks.
