About 21 December, a unique show takes place between 7 and 8 am, due to the peculiar situation and construction of the Cathedral of Mallorca. At dawn, the sun crosses the bulding launching a beam of light that can only be seen from Es Baluard. This mathematical-based effect is disclosed and explained by the Balearic Society of Mathematics SBM-XEIX. Together with Es Baluard, this association proposes, after the viewing, a meeting with an exceptional rapporteur: Claudi Alsina Català, professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. He will focus on Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926), an architect whose works are very related to organic.
