  • Day: September 22, 2018
  • Time: 19: 00h
  • Place: Cultural complex
  • Free activity

Es Baluard Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Palma presents the Carte Blanche on the Cultural Complex of the Museum in Formatting Architecture. The project is based on the invitation to the collective of architects integrated by Antoni Gelabert and Néstor Montenegro. This initiative is focused on rethinking the complex building that the institution welcomes to transform it conceptually, make sense of its spaces and provide them with visibility, both in the areas known as the most unknown. The project will develop different theoretical reflections on the physical interrelations of these actions with the museum and its public-interlocutors.

Invisible is the title of the project that is framed within the context of the Carte Blanche that the direction of Es Baluard has proposed during the last years to personalities of the world of culture such as: Jean Marie del Moral, Agustín Fernández Mallo, Isaki Lacuesta, Tolo Cañellas or Comicnostrum.

In the line developed by Formatting in both its teaching and research projects and work, Invisible will give rise to a work that echoes the invisible forces present in the place to transform them into a series of ephemeral installations Within the same museum complex, which will be inaugurated on September 22, coinciding with the date of the Art Nights 2018.

Invisible has the collaboration of Ariadna Cantis, who will colaborates on developing communication strategies.
