14DRUMS@2014

"14DRUMS@2014", as meeting of batteries and electronic musicians, is a singular action to take place the night of September 14 as a sound activity involving 14 batteries simultaneously playing in the Es Baluard area.
 
This is a great gathering of sound and energy. This project aims to give visibility to percussionists, giving full weight of the event to their rhythmic work and facilitating the professionalization of young musicians from all musical areas, regardless of commerciality issues, sex, age, educational level or race. It also seeks to involve the work of the artists, facilitating the dissemination of contemporary movements in the fields of audio and video, drama, dance and graphic art.
 
The Third Meeting of batteries and electronic musicians in Palma "14DRUMS@2014" is an event organized by the NeoTokyo collective and focused on the field of musical experimentation, blending contemporary electronic music, visual arts and percussion.
 
This collective meeting aims to generate synergy to spread the idea that musical experimentation can show viewers the ability to disseminate musical ideas and to create outside the commercial sphere.
