18 OF MAY. INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY

Throughout the day and until 21 May in the Museum’s Auditorium, taking advantage of the leitmotif of the day, “Museums and Young People”, established by the ICOM, there will be an exhibition of works created in the local schools as a result of a visit to Es Baluard or on the subject of museums. During the day, the children will give guided tours to visitors and will explain their works. The participating schools are IES Bendinat, IES Baltasar Porcel and Escola de Disseny Blau.   

At 17.00 on the Museum’s outdoor terraces there will be a demonstration of dance directed by the choreographer Mariantònia Oliver and performed by the third cycle primary pupils from the CP Maria Antònia Salvà, Son Sardina (Choreographic Games project organised by the Palma City Council’s Dinàmica Educativa department) and the Middle Cycle of the Palma Professional Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
