Agroecology and Eating Sovereignty

We're celebrating the International Environment Day on 5th June. Thus, following the "Paisatges sostenibles" programme, the museum organises two meetings on Agroecology and Eating sovereignty. Family ecological agriculture needs a responsible use and, because of ity, an education on food and healthy and agroecological habits that should start at school.

The development of an eating culture and the construction of distribution nets are part of an agroecological and conscient use. Everybody must share this responsibility to preserve the planet and to make visible the tasks of production, consciousness raising, distribution and use.

Two meetings on Agroecology and Eating sovereignty will be held:

"Slow education": Laura Buades Rotger (Vicepresident of Slow Food Illes Balears), Guillem Ferrer (Director and founder of Educació per la Vida and Poc a Poc)

"From earth to the table": Lluís Penyafort (Slow Food chef and consultant at Fundación José Navarro) and Biel Torrens (producer and secretary of Unió de Pagesos and President of Slow Food Illes Balears).
