ANGLADA CAMARASA. LA LLUM DE L'ILLA

Es Baluard screens the documentary film Anglada Camarasa. La llum de l'Illa directed by Manu Balaguer and Agustí Torres as a closing of the temporary exhibition "Mallorca and interpretation of the landscape". Agustí Torres himself will offer a lecture at the end of the screening, presented by Nekane Aramburu, Es Baluard's director.

This documentary about the figure of Hermén Anglada-Camarasa (Barcelona 1817 – Pollença 1959), a painter who placed the Balearic Islands in the international spotlight of the artistic and cultural life of his time, recovering the sensitivity and fresh look that he and his colleagues provided to the insular landscape.
