Angles and angels: the Genius Loci from the museum to the cathedral

Es Baluard organizes a meeting with Juan Sáez as part of the Sustainable Lanscape program, in which some questions about the relationship of the place and its telluric connections will be addressed. Under the title “Angles and angels: the Genius Loci from the museum to the cathedral” this expert in sacred architecture will take as reference the work of the permanent collection of the museum “Murada i catedral a entrada de fosca” (1903) by Antoni Gelabert in the that appears the cathedral of Palma.
In the talk we will discuss the sacred and sensitive geometry, how geometric patterns structure places, our sensations and our mind. Feel and understand what they mean and how to take advantage of these figures. The importance of the angle as the origin of the Genius Loci and the personal essence will also be exposed. The Associació per a la Bioconstrucció de les Illes Balears (ABIB) collaborates in this project.
Juan Sáez studied Chi Kung with teachers such as Juan Li, Zhu Gian Chan and Howard Lee, Shiatsu at the International Institute of Shiatsu and Chinese Medicine at the ISMET and CENAC institutes. He began to feel the telluric energies by Dominique Susani. He founded Arte Zahorí in the year 2000, creating a formation of sensitive Geobiology, which uses the body as a perceptive instrument. It is based on the relationship of the individual with the environment, which is a determining factor in the quality of life. He has given conferences and training in Spain and Brazil, where he was named honorary president of the Brazilian institute of Geobiology, Bioconstruction and Zahorí Art. He is the author of the book “Places of power”.
