Anniversary of the Societat Balear de Matemàtiques, associated collective
Last October 2015 marked the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Balearic Society of Mathematics. To celebrate it, on Friday April 15 we will be in the Es Baluard's Auditori. The Balearic Society of Matemàtiques collaborates with the museum every year organising activities linked to the winter solstice. This phenomenon calls each year more and more people.
The event, free, is open to all partners and companions but prior registration is required (limited to 30 people capacity). You can register by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org before 14th April.
The programme is as follows:
18:30 Opening of the ceremony by president Daniel Ruiz.
19:00 Lecture: Mathematical research in the recent years by Gabriel Cardona (UIB).
20:00 10 Questions about the Pruebas Canguro in the Balearic Islands by Jaume Monreal.
20:30 Refreshments and conclusion.
Attendees will receive a small commemorative gift.
