Es Baluard hosts the Carnie-Fest, an international festival with emerging and consecrated figures of alternative music, folk, American and roots. It will take place on September 21 in the central courtyard, organized by Carnivale and Pecan Pie Music and culture, a museum collaborator. The bands that will take part will be:

Amanda Anne Platt & The Honeycutters
Specialized critics place them as one of the best and most promising bands of current American music. From North Carolina landed for the first time on the island to give a single concert in Spain.

Copper Viper
Called to become the new sensation of international independent folk, this English duo arrives in Mallorca to present their first album, produced by Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile) and mastered by Gavin Lürssen (“O’Brother, where Art Thou? “Bso, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss).

Fame & The Flames
The local representation is in charge of this band of rockabilly formed by veterans of the island scene, led by Fame.

Rob Corcoran for kids
The smallest ones also have their place in the festival, with a performance dedicated especially for them, that will give the start to the event. This year the Irish musician, who returns after his 2016 visit, will make a mini concert for all audiences.
