Cecilia Molano + Magdalena Garzón. PARTITURA INESTABLE

Within the framework of the Sea Arts Balearic Performing Arts Festival, organized by Institut d'Estudis Baleàrics, Es Baluard presents Partitura Inestable (Unstable Score) a small format piece that connects plastics arts with contemporary dance.

The plastic artist Cecilia Molano and the dancer Magdalena Garzón set to explore the relationship between stroke and gesture, line and movement, choreography and scribble or between paper and dance floor in a real-time composition via the use of live video and the presence of the body.

In the scene they are the two artists presented with the languages of their own. Cecilia prepares the paintings corner, brushes and paper. Magdalena, on stage, also in white. The dialogue code between them will be the one marking the building of this time-real piece. They connect to time and space and tune the listening. However, gesture is the gear of the action.

Partitura inestable gets formed and unformed, creating the tangible material of the drawings on papers screened on the artist's body and ephemeral memory of trace in space, mixed with video. The final work will always be different, based on the guidelines of the techniques of improvisation and instant composition.
