CROMLECH

As closing of the exhibit "Julião Sarmento 2000 – 2010", Es Baluard will host a special projection of the fiction video Cromlech (2010) by the artist Julião Sarmento, shown in the exhibition. Cromlech presents the house of the architect  João Luís Carrilho da Graça (Portalegne, 1952) in Candeias, a project of 1999 and finished in 2008 outside a small village near Évora, in south-Portugal.
 

This audiovisual was part of the exhibition "No Place Like – 4 houses 4 films" with which Portugal figured at the 12th International Architecture Exhibition in the Venice Biennale.
