Within the Es Baluard Museum’s programme for this year, we have started a series of exhibition proposals that, under the title of “Nachleben. Painting as Conceptual Art”, aim to contribute to the understanding of the history of recent art and investigate the intrinsic nature of painting from some of its vicissitudes or drifts.
At the same time, Es Baluard Museu has launched the programme “Thinking About Painting” that includes conferences, dialogues and other formats, to reflect on the pictorial practice and its processes through artists and other researchers and experts in the field. This programme is a continuation of the seminar that we at Es Baluard Museum organised in January under the same title and which will run throughout 2025.
