“ESCAPARATE PARA NUEVOS CREADORES GRÁFICOS. ES BALUARD + FUNDACIÓN CAMPER”
In 2014 Es Baluard and the Fundación Camper launched a competition within the framework of the activities of the “10th anniversary of Es Baluard”. This competition, designed for new international graphic creators, aims to show the latest trends in design and graphics based on their proposals for intervention in the museum’s display cases.
The initiative is linked to Es Baluard with a glocal perspective, as both an international art centre and a meeting place with contemporary culture and design in the broadest sense of the word, in this case in collaboration with the Fundación Camper.
The topic proposed for this first contest revolved around “Mallorca”.
The winner, as a result of obtaining the maximum number of points, was Andrea Santamarina, with the project “Instadrawings”.
The runner-up projects were:
Sebastià Gayà con “Una mirada al món”, Dolores Pascual “Siurells” y Helena Guinjoan & Kenneth Von Freyhold “Neules 2.0”
The presentation of the projects will take place on 18th May at 12 pm on the first floor of the museum. Activity open to the public.
