EXTIMITATS (WORSHOP AIMED AT YOUNG PEOPLE)

Aimed at people 13 to 17 years old.
 
The way we communicate with others and how we share our experiences has changed a lot. Nowadays, the cell phone allows us to communicate with others wherever we are; we have a profile at social networks to inform our friends on what we do and how we feel; we use the email and the chats to stay in permanent contact, and we upload photos and videos to be seen by everybody. We’re not keeping our intimacy anymore, we share it with everybody.
 
And how do you share your intimacy? Have you ever think about the things other people can know about you? Where do you place the limits between you and others? We’ll work in this workshop with the pieces of “Extimacy: art, intimacy and technology”, we’ll talk about the themes they propose and create new proposals which will dialogue with the exhibition. Furthermore, we’ll put in practice works related to the museum, the curator and the installation of the art pieces.
 
If you’re a kid with artistic intentions, take photos, upload videos, if you have any avatar or spaces in the net, you love new technologies or you’re wishing to experiment all these, you’re the one we need to complete the exhibition with your “extimacy”.
