FES'19: Festival Cul de Sac

Es Baluard hosts the fourth edition of the festival of music and experimental art Cul de Sac, which has a dozen performances distributed over three nights. As headlines and in his only performance in Spain, will arrive Thurston Moore, the legendary founder and leader of Sonic Youth with his band. The Italian group Zu will also play. In the electronic field, they will go up to the stage Suso Saiz and Fasenuova. There will also be room for the post-hardcore of the Catalans Tano!, Gahra’s Dream Pop, Zulu Zulu’s African-American Psychedelia and Blood Quartet’s free jazz. They will complete the line-up with Za! and Cheeto’s Magazine.

Cul de Sac Festival will take place on 7, 8 and 9 June. Access to concerts and parallel activities is free and free, with the exception of the concert of Thurston Moore Band (tickets in advance and box office).

  • 10: 30h – «The last radio trench: free radio in Mallorca», with Marc Angrill, Toni Huguet, Marc Miralles and Titoieta Ràdio. Moderator: Tomeu Canyellas.
  • 16: 30h – «New sounds, new images: local music in the new audiovisual island» with Joan Carles Martorell, Cati Moyà, Javier García Lerín, Joan Bover and Lluís Prieto. Moderator: David Mataró.
