I PHOTO CONTEST FOR YOUTH

You also forms part of contemporary photography! Therefore Es Baluard launches this competition aimed at all young people who have made ​​photography one element in their everyday life. At present, we constantly photograph and do it with all kinds of cameras (analog, digital, mobile phone, tablet, the Polaroid printer, submersible, with wifi, 3D…).
 
Photography is a way of communication increasingly widespread but it is also a language, a tool for reflection communication criticism, a poetic element linked to your immediate environment.
 
Es Baluard offer the opportunity to explore all the possibilities of this technique and specifically the portrait, one of the highlights genres of the exhibition "Reproductibilitat 1.0" with which the museum opens its new season. Come and check to see that the works of art that are set in it can be a source of inspiration and dialogue with your interests ideas, hobbies…    

Participants

  • 13 to 17 years old inclusive.

 

Award

  • The winner obtains a personalized and specialized photography workshop of 4 hours, valued at 400 euros. Collaboration : FotoRuanoPro.
  •  A series of exhibition catalogs on photography edited by the museum.
  • An Amics d’Es Baluard card valid for one year (allows free admission, discounts, etc).
  • Your photography and authorship will be disseminated on the web and social networks.

 

Topic 
 

  • The theme of the photographs must be the portrait, an artistic genre that can be read from multiple readings in contemporary art.
  • The photographs should keep a relationship of dialogue, inspiration or contrast with portraits of the exhibition "Reproductibilitat 1.0".

Format
 
A maximum of 2 photographs per participant will be accepted. They must be unpublished and must not have been submitted in another contest. Each photo must have a maximum resolution of 4 MB.
