Intruders in the museum

“Intruders in the museum” aims to explore nowadays communication tools. Toni Amengual introduces first-hand the museum with our mobile devices as tools to create and broadcast videos. We’re questioning and trying to find out what is art and specifically what is video art. We’ll use the social networks to share and make public our questionings, dilemmas and conclusions.

CV Toni Amengual (Mallorca, 1980)
Degree in Biology (University of Barcelona 2003). Postgraduate degree in photojournalism (Autonomous University of Barcelona 2003). Since then he has devoted his career to photography, creating a body of work that is between the author and documentary photography. His work has been seen at prestigious festivals tour photography as PhotoEspaña (Discoveries 2010), On the Move Cortona (Cortona, Italy 2015). He has received awards including the prize “Nuevo Documentalismo. La Fábrica 2013” and self-published best photobook of the year (PhotoEspaña 2015) for his first book PAIN.

He currently lives in Barcelona where he teaches photography at the level of IDEP and is director of the graduate in documentary photography (from 2012).
