Es Baluard presents a selection of 23 short films from the last edition of the Jameson Notodofilmfest and deserve to be discovered, both its presence and recognition in the list of winners, and for their quality. Following the screenings, there will be a panel discussion with Ángel Mirallas, journalist and member of the festival's commitee and the following journalists and cinema-eaters: Xavier Borrull, Rafa Gallego and Jesús Torné.  

Notodofilmfest Jameson is a film festival founded in 2001 with the aim to support and serve as a showcase for young visual artists through a new medium, the Internet, and which also breaks down the barriers of film production and distribution.  

The festival is an initiative of La Fábrica from an original idea by Javier Fesser and aims to put Internet as a movie service as a way to discover new talent, to experiment with a new medium accessible to all, and to get a very wide spread. With eleven editions behind, is widely recognized in Spain as the reference event of Internet cinema.  

Jameson Notodofilmfest has achieved a high participation and international audience: more than 9,000 short films submitted to the contest in eleven editions, films from 38 different countries, 21 million viewers and substantial prizes awarded in different categories, which also include training grants and aids production of audiovisual projects.  

The jury of each issue gathers renowned filmmakers also producing a short film for the festival: Julio Medem, Guillermo del Toro, Bigas Luna, J. J. Campanella, Terry Gilliam, Alejandro Amenábar, Iciar Bollaín, Alex de la Iglesia, Javier Fesser, Eliseo Subiela, Achero Mañas, Juan C. Fresnadillo, Daniel Monzón, David Trueba, Isabel Coixet, Santi Amodeo, Javier Corcuera, Jaume Balagueró, Manuel Huerga, Pablo Stoll, Gracia Querejeta, Chus Gutiérrez, Víctor García León.
