Jewels between nature and poetry

Within the activities in the program “Disseny i Innovació a les Illes Balears” linked to the museum shop, a talk will be given by the designer Claudia Liedtke, who is currently participating with her project “Poetic jewelry”.

In this activity Liedtke will talk about the following topics:

– The jewels from the beginning of the 20th century, to the contemporary artistic jewel.

– Inspirations of nature for the jeweler.

– Poetry by Pablo Neruda, Octavio Paz or Japanese Haikus, integrated as an inspirational element and present in a Jewel.

– Musical and verbal interventions that will reflect the “feeling” of the jewels.
