K-DANSE

Genesis 3.16 staged two opposing views: the "classic", which appears in the ancient mythological writings, and the other, the "displaced", provided by the look of a woman from three female Greek mythological figures: the Sirens, Andromeda and Ariadne. Unlike the Sun (Helios), associated with the male hero, the moon (full moon) here takes its symbolism in relation to femininity. The choreography, video, light (between light and dark) are part of this complexity. The dynamics strongly contrasted to the dance, projected images and musical elements, feed the aesthetics of the spectacle offered to the viewer.

Genesis 3.16 is part of the Festival CorpusMedia involving Aragon, Catalonia, Languedoc-Roussillon, Midi Pyrenees and the Balearic Islands.

The K-DANSE company, based in Toulouse (France), directed by two choreographers with very different but complementary paths, performs the staging of their shows expermitenting with a language that combines dance, image and technology. In France and abroad K-Danse company is known for its pioneering role and the dynamism of creation in a territory that crosses the dance and digital art.
