Liquid Times: Laboratory of soft materials. Adaptation as a strategy

Liquid Times speaks of movement , changes and how we behave with and on them. How the current social scenario requires individuals to be flexible, plastic or even fickle, and that we implement the integration of movement and change in our way of life, exercising adaptation as a strategy to achieve balance.

The expression "Liquid time/liquid modernity" formulated by philosopher Zygmunt Bauman refers to a modernity that has gone from "stable-solid -repetitive to a liquid-flexible-volatile one", where social structures no longer endure time and where individual is required to be able to change tactics.

Laboratory of Soft Materials -or subjects-, will work in a practical way, from the perspective of art, transverse concepts of philosophy, sociology and everyday life. Glass "capsules" will be used with liquid inside, to talk about movements or changes (those physical, personal, position, opinion…).

Punch, bend, vaporize, blow, wrinkled, cover, alter… Plastic applications and practical experiences of the philosophical concepts of "liquid modernity".
