LLUNES D'ES BALUARD 2011

Llunes d’Es Baluard (Es Baluard's Moons) comes back. This free admission program features performing arts and music at the museum's outdoors. A Summer program which offers a chance to meet or even discover artists exploring the news paths of contemporary dance, theater, music, circus, sound poetry or performative arts, considering a huge variety of expressions and becoming a national and international projection platform for local artists.

The 2011 edition will be focused on the universal theme of love from a contemporary perspective through five shows of scenic art and/or music that research and reflect on the complex contemporary relationships, the limits and elements of love and lack of love, falling in love, chemical love, passion, desire, intimacy, complementarity, tenderness but also incomunication, mismatch, alienation, disenchantment, lies, oblivion… A scenic and musical journey from the beginning to the end of love. The Llunes 2011 shows have a strong emotion component and have been chosen specifically to revive the audience's sensibility and emotions. They're all pieces in which one will find improvisation, image, experimentation, body, fusion of disciplines, movement, encounter of artists joined in a specific project, music, innovation, etc. In the Llunes 2011 program, emotion and the thing contemporary are assured.

Every Friday in July let the Es Baluard's moon seduces you. A moon always full. Full of art, dance, theater, music, projections… and inspiration!
