On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Es Baluard Museu, we are planning a day of concerts that will begin with a performance by Los Sara Fontan. They are an experimental duo formed by Sara Fontán and Edi Pou who add a violin, a keyboard and drums, with an arsenal of pedals and effects and resources to go from contemporary to electronic, from landscape and ambient to unbridled, in few seconds They started playing in 2019 and their terrain is live music, always physical, changing and permeable to the environment.

Their proposal quickly grew and expanded into the world of performing arts. Their project 4132314 together with Tarta Relena and Cocanha won the Ciutat de Barcelona Award in 2022, they shared the stage with the poet Blanca Llum Vidal in La Princesa sou Vós (2022), with the dancer Sónia Gómez (2023) and other projects with Amorante (SO). Their sound designs for Los Detectius (Antic Teatre, 2022) or soundtracks such as Remember My Name, Magaluf Ghost Town (Toronto Film Festival, 2021), Autodefensa are well known.
Los Sara Fontan have toured in Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland and Germany, including festivals (One Of A Million, BAM, AMFest, Sound Isidro, Eufónic, Norpes) and Do-It-Yourself temples (from Liceo Mutante at the Kastanienkeller in Berlin).

Sara (Arbol, PIÑA, la Orquesta del Caballo Ganador, Manos de Topo) uses her violin as a starting point to reach any texture and invoke any mood. Next to her, Edi (half of ZA!) takes on the challenge of turning the percussion into a melody and straining the dynamics from the minuscule to the epic. At the end of 2022 they decided to record a live album Queda pendiente (It remains pending) which is a true reflection of what Los Sara Fontan are right now. It is a live, contemporary, meandering and absolutely dynamic record.
