MARÍA CABEZA DE VACA. 'UNA FORMA FÁCIL DE ACABAR CON TODO'
Una forma fácil de acabar con todo (An easy way to end it all) is a solo dance-performance by choreographer María Cabeza de Vaca, which reflects a sense of humor about life. Inspired by a brief letter of the artist Louise Bourgeoise "7 Easy ways to end it all" about suicide, it uses the concept of end as a recurring motif, both formally and argumentative. "End" understood not as a definitive way to end it all but as necessary to close transition stages as an "engine of change".
According to the artist, "It's an optimistic work that speaks of turbulent vital moments, explosives, electrics (…) those which well managed enable changes. It definitely talks about the need to reinvent ourselves to keep fighting".
