On the occasion of the Sant Sebastià festival, this year we energized the day with a new activity based on the research promoted by the museum in its line of Genders and Transgenders. Thus, in the store of the Es Baluard museum, mediation will be developed with the attending speakers, whose objective will be to publicize and stimulate the contents of a key text to approach these issues:
«Learning from a martyr. From the victim to the empowerment in LGBTQI cultures» by Juan Vicente Aliaga contains a contemporary view of the saint’s iconography and its intrinsic eroticism present in lots of its representations.
