Observatori: José Muñoz. Juego de sombras

José Muñoz´s drawings must be read. His stroke is a flowing narrative that conjures faces in which each line tells a story, each splash of black ink conceals a tale. His cartoons and pages are vast tapestries woven through endless stories, hidden in the most unexpected odd corners: we encounter them in the old lady who crosses the road in the background, in the small bubble speech that escapes from a tiny window here or there or in a girl´s wide black eyes. These are lines and strokes in powerful black and white that give us food for thought and stir a passion for comic strips.
