12:00h Conference on strategies of distribution and audiovisual promotion, by the hand of Ismael Martin (ECAM)
Ismael Martin is the head of the distribution department of the ECAM (Madrid School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of Madrid), responsible for the Madrid program Corto and specialist in the distribution of short films and independent films. Throughout his professional career, he has distributed more than 500 shorts to film festivals accumulating more than 15,000 selections and 2,000 awards, including numerous nominations for Goya and one for Oscars.

17:00h VR Production for Google Spotlight Stories: talk with Mariano Melman-Carrara of Nexus Studios
After graduating from London College of Communication with honors in the Animation race, Mariano worked as director of short films, music videos and commercials of television before joining Passion Pictures in London as a producer of the animation (2010). During this time, he worked with clients such as Vodafone, Toyota, Unilever, Diageo, Renault, HSBC, Visa and artists such as Damon Albarn (Everyday Robots) and Spike Jonze (Her).
Melman joined Nexus Studios in London in 2014, where he works as a producer in varied entertainment projects such as 360 ° / VR interactive films, web and interactive arts. In this talk he will explain his experience producing pieces such as ‘Rain or Shine’ for Google Spotlight Stories and ‘Back to the Moon’ for Google Doodle.
