RAYUELA DJ'S
Rayuela dj's is the musical collage project and Mark Gerard Armengol Jávega. The duo has since 2004, experimenting with a blend of rhythms, sounds and voice cuts ranging from musical comedy Catalan and tropical calypso of the 30s to the U.S. neo-psychedelia of the early twenty-first century. All this, without losing sight of the office of the disk jockey who has to choose the song that always surprises. Based on loops, thrash, punk, humor lysergic, dance pop, sounds, and more loops singlesolvidados, Rayuela DJ's spinning a web with a broken music of rare beauty.
Rayuela dj's were invited last year's International Festival of Benicassim FIB. They also performed at festivals Plastidepop of Zaragoza, Trends IMF of Hospitalet de Llobregat, FM Sintonitzza Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Verbena de Papagayo Sa Santa Maria del Camí, 2010 Malafama Muro, Son Dameto Rock of Palma and the rooms The [ 2] of Apollo, Depo, The Sound, Great Bar in Barcelona, Alicante and Cartagena Stereo and Casino Royale Palma Club, among others.
In "Es Baluard Llunes," the DJ's Rayuela present euphoria, Ànima, euphoria. A show where the audio session is accompanied by a selection of images also inspired the collage technique and the loop. The visuals include fragments of first-experimental film, television and home video 80 popular dance among others.
