Roundtable 'La llave Dalí'

Es Baluard hosts this roundtable focused on the film La llave Dalí (David Fernández, 2015), screened in the museum in the last edition of “Evolution! Mallorca International Film Festival”, where he was awarded the best documentary. This free activity will discuss the growing relationship and synergies between art and cinema. The meeting will be moderated by the film critic and president of the Catalan Association of Critics and Screenwriters (ACCEC), Violeta Kovaksics, with the participation of

• Nicolas Descharnes: international expert of Salvador Dalí work.
• Tomeu l’Amo: artist, reserarcher and protagonist of the documentary film La Llave Dalí.
• David Fernández: director of the documentary film La Llave Dalí.
• Joan Carles Martorell: director of IB3 Televisió de les Illes Balears.

La Llave Dalí depicts the amazing fight of the Mallorca scientist and artist Tomeu l’Amo to demonstrate the paiting he purchased in and antiquarian in 1989 was made by Salvador Dalí. Throughout this research, Tomeu finds out the secret code Dalí recognised he used in many of his art works. This discovery gives Dalí work a new meaning.
