Es Baluard presents a new edition of the BAFTA Shorts within its programming to support the audiovisual sector. The British Council, as a cultural partner of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), once again collaborates with the BAFTA short film 2019, a program dedicated to the promotion of the best British short films. The United Kingdom has a long tradition in the production of short films and both the British Council and BAFTA are aware of the importance of seeking new audiences to support the diversity and talent of British filmmakers.

The 2019 BAFTA Shorts Program includes eight short films, three of them from
animation with a total duration of approximately 110 minutes.
The shorts are not suitable for children under 16 years.

Program

73 Cows
A farmer fights his regrets every time he takes his cows to the slaughterhouse. He knows that something must change (15 minutes).

Bachelor, 38 
A love story that has made a dent and that has marked the life of a man in London (16 minutes). Nominees:
