Es Baluard is proposed as finissage activity of the exhibition «Them and us» the documentary «Dominion» which addresses the issue of animal rights. Recorded in Australia, but with a global message, «Dominion» shows graphically and forcefully how humans exploit animals in six fundamental aspects of our relationship with them: pets, wildlife, scientific research, entertainment, clothing and food, in which he focuses especially, to question the morality and legitimacy and validity of humanity’s dominion over the animal kingdom. The documentary is narrated by Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, Sia, Sadie Sink and Kat Von D, and co-produced by the creator of Earthlings Shaun Monson.
Warning: the content of the images that will be seen in the documentary can hurt the sensibility of some spectators.
