Meeting about the "Hombres Coronados" (Crowned Men) project

A visit to the Marta Pujades project on 7 March and a meeting with people interested in discuss and change impressions about the non-hegemonic and gender masculinities. Later, there will be a celebration vermut.
 
 
"Crowned masculinities" conversation

• In collaboration with: Palma City Council (Department of Social well-being and Equalty).

A conversation about non-hegemonic masculinities takes place on the Father's Day, 19 March, to close the "Crowned Men" project. The talk will feature the sociologist and researcher Pere Fullana, the playwriter Jeroni Obrador, talking from emotional cultural, psicologist Noelia Bravo (from the Palma City Council's Programa de atención a personas agresoras dentro del ámbito de relaciones de parejas), the artist Marta Pujades, presenting her project “Crowned men” in its context of feminist artistic practices and the link with non-hegemonic masculinities; and Antoni Colom, Chief of the Sección de Igualdad of the Palma City Council.

• From Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm.

 
A shelf is placed in the museum's shop with bibliography about gender and transgender issues, featuring all its varieties (feminisms, new masculinities, trans-feminism, queer…). You will find there publications of the editors Icaria, editorial Egales, ediciones Morata, Horas y HORAS editorial, Consonni, among others.
