THE NEOTOKYO FESTIVAL OF ELECTRONIC MUSIC AND VIDEO ART

The fourth edition of the "NeoTokyo Festival", organized by the cultural association and rock band NeoTokyo, takes place from 22 to 25 September at Es Baluard Museu d'Art Modern i Contemporani de Palma. This is the second occasion that it is celebrated at the museum, after its success in 2009. By 2010, it has been claimed the festival consolidation for its continuity and expansion. Expansion not only related to the duration, which happens to four days, one more than in 2009, but in the sense that it becomes a regular event and a reference level of video art and electronic music in Mallorca.  

If, a year ago, were figures like Alexander Hacke (Germany) and Danielle de Picciotto (United States), who climbed to the museum's stage, this edition will be artists of international renown as Zan Lyons (United Kingdom), Meneo (Guatemala / Barcelona), and others like Muñeca Cruel (Mexico), and the Spanish Kingdinsky, Acid Pimps, NeoTokyo, Error_Video, Pedro Trotz, Head over Heels, Minimal TV, Roñatron and Tannhäusser Collective.

While the concerts will take place at Es Baluard, there will be also the incorporation of a new space, the Quarter d'Intendència (Centre de Recursos per a la Creació Contemporània) – hosting conversations between some of the artists participating in the this edition.
