Arxiu Balears

The «Arxiu Balears» is a project by Es Baluard aimed at promoting the art of the Balearic Islands. It is a digital platform dedicated to the study and dissemination of creators and cultural agents connected to the museum’s collections, as well as to the local and international artistic contexts linked to them.

Conceived as an ongoing foundational project for research, conservation, cataloguing, and the dissemination of artistic production, the «Arxiu Balears» began in April 2013 and, to date, has recorded on video more than 60 art professionals — including artists, collectors, and designers — compiling over 50 hours of footage so far.
