Catalogue of the second edition of the cycle of exhibitions “In Private”, dedicated to art collecting in the Balearic Islands. “The unamiable option”, curated by Carlos Jover, brings together a selection of works that are controversial for different reasons, extracting them even from their private environment. Artists such as Joseph Beuys, Andrés Serrano, Bruce LaBruce, Jonathan Meese, Carmen Calvo, Regina José Galindo, Mayte Vieta, Christian Boltanski and Pablo Picasso, amongst others, form part of the exhibition, which is accompanied by this catalogue in which the works are reproduced in colour, along with texts by curator Carlos Jover and the collectors José María Lafuente and Juan Redón.
