Spaces for art, from architecture to the immaterial. Reflections on the place

Publication showing the conclusions of the work panel comprised of art and architecture professionals held on 14^th December 2018 at the Auditori in Es Baluard. The discussions during the panel focussed on the search for appropriate guidelines for working with the contemporary art space. The event was proposed as a continuance of the project “Invisible”.

“Invisible” was the title of the Carte Blanche held in the cultural complex proposed for the collective Formatting Architecture (Antoni Gelabert, Néstor Montenegro). The project reflected on the potential of using the museum’s more hidden spaces, and concluded with the inauguration of a structure on its terraces during the Nit de l’Art (Night of Art) .

It contains texts by Nekane Aramburu, Antoni Gelabert, Carles Guerra, Juana Canet, Carmelo Rodríguez and Guillem Aloy, an interview of a Karin Ohlenschläger by Rafael Gallego, and contributions from Rosa Pérez, Elena Ruiz, Miquel Martorell and Olivier W. Lascelles. It also includes graphic documentation on the “Invisible” project.
