2012 WORLD BOOK DAY DISCOUNTS AND BOOKCROSSING
Es Baluard will carry out a series of activities to celebrate The World Book Day 2012. On April 23, thanks to collaboration with El Corte Ingles, a stall will be in Jaime III, Palma with a 10% off in Es Baluard books and products. The POS will be open at 9 am and will run throughout the day.
Moreover, Baluard will join on April 20 a Bookcrossing network in which they will participate 71 worldwide museums and centers, which will release more than five thousand books of different disciplines. Es Baluard will contribute releasing 15 exhibition catalogs of the museum, which will be deposited in different points of Palma. Some of the Spanish centers involved are Artium (Vitoria), Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (Madrid), CCCB (Barcelona), Joan Miró Foundation (Barcelona), La Casa Encendida (Madrid), MUSAC (Leon), MNAC (Barcelona), in addition to other foreigners such as the Victoria & Albert Museum (London), the National Art Library (London) and the headquarters of the Instituto Cervantes in Cairo, Tel Aviv and Paris, among other.
