4.409 people visited museum Es Baluard during the “Nit de l’Art”, that took place last Thursday from 8:00 pm to midnight. The night which inaugurates Palma’s artistic season matched up with the inauguration of “Crossed Landscapes. Views of Es Baluard’s Collection”, Es Baluard’s new exhibition. Instead of “Crossed Landscapes”, the audience could visit the exhibitions “Juli Ramis visits Picasso, Marie Laurencin, Wifredo Lam...”, which will be showed until next 20 September, and “Joan Cortés. Memory of Water”, to show until 11 October at Es Baluard’s old tank: l’aljub.
“Crossed Landscapes” is a view of the pieces which constituted Es Baluard’s collection as well as the last incorporations. The exhibition consist of a selection of 60 pieces realised by 41 artists as Anglada Camarasa, Miquel Barceló, Por Barclay, Christian Boltanski, José Manuel Broto, Miguel Ángel Campano, Ramon Canet, Alberto García-Alix, Luis Gordillo, Alfredo Jaar, Pierre Gonnord, Anselm Kiefer, Jason Martin, Joan Morey, José María Sicilia, Joaquín Sorolla and Juan Uslé, among others.
