AUDIENCE SUCCESS AT THE PREMIERE OF MARINA ABRAMOVIC. THE ARTIST IS PRESENT
300 people, the maximum capacity of the Es Baluard's Aljub, attended yesterday at the premiere of the documentary Marina Abramovic. The artist is present, an event hosted by actress Rossy de Palma and which counted with the collaboration of Fundació Turisme Palma de Mallorca 365.
The film, which won the Audience Award at the Berlin Film Festival 2012 (Panorama), nominated at the best documentary award at the Independent Spirit Awards and which competed in the 2012 editions of Seminci (Valladolid) and Sundance, trace an overview of the work of Marina Abramovic (Yugoslavia, 1946) from the monograph the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA) dedicated her in 2010.
Besides the general public, Es Baluard invited for the occasion people associated with the world of culture and particularly of art in Mallorca.
