ES BALUARD ACQUIRES 38 WORKS OF25 ARTISTS TO ITS COLLECTION

Es Baluard Museu d’Art Modern i Contemporani de Palma adds 38 new works to its collection, 7 large paintings, 3 sculptures, 1 sculpture-installation, 1 installation and 25 photographs.

With the acquisition of works of 25 artists Baluard's acting according to the criterion to expand the collection reflecting the artistic flows that coincide in the Balearics since they're works of artists born, living or working in the Islands. According to this, among the acquired works they're those by the artists José Bechara, Joan Ramon Bonet, Pepe Cañabate, Daniel Chust Peters, Joan Fontcuberta, Mònica Fuster, Alberto García-Alix, Dionisio González, Jorge Mayet, Joan Morey, David Nash and Eulàlia Valldosera.
