ES BALUARD AND EL CORTE INGLÉS LAUNCH A CAMPAIGN FOR CULTURAL PROMOTION

Es Baluard and El Corte Inglés signed this morning an agreement on cultural cooperation which will enable the implementation of campaigns to promote the art and reading.  

The first joint action carried out by Es Baluard and El Corte Inglés will take place between today, March 28, and April 2 to mark the Children's Book Day, held every second day of April. In order to promote reading among children, the stores of El Corte Inglés in Palma (Jaume III and Avenidas) will give two tickets for Es Baluard per 15 euros purchasing children's books.

Moreover, the agreement also provides that El Corte Inglés center in Jaume III will lend one of its windows during the Nit de l'Art 2012 for the museum to  is carry out a performance. Es Baluard celebrates this important event since the museum's opening in 2004 and El Corte Inglés has also collaborated on the event. This is the first time that they do it together.    

Other collaborations
In addition, the agreement includes a campaign to mark the Book Day, which will allow Es Baluard to sale the museum's catalogs and other publications during the April 23 at the El Corte Inglés-Jaume III outdoors.  

It also will be installed a permanent place to sale Es Baluard's products in El Corte Inglés-Avenidas, and they will be carried out campaigns to encourage occasional visits to the museum and actions to reinforce the relationship between both entities.
