
Es Baluard opened on January 30, the exhibition "Implosió", coinciding with its 10th anniversary. Due to this, the museum will offer two open doors days on Saturday 1 and Sunday February 2 within its regular schedule.
Curated by Nekane Aramburu, Es Baluard’s director, “Implosió" represents a deeply reorder of the permanent collection and the starting point for display, document, investigate and disclose this collection. The exhibition, covering the main floor of the building, presents a chronological and pedagogic journey, from modern art to the avant-garde experimentation that took place in the early twentieth century, to contemporary pieces of current acquisitions.
In addition to “Implosió”, the museum is hosting the photography exhibition "Reproductibilitat 1.1", the installation "Cabinet: Amparo Sard. Pareidolia", ending this Sunday, and the Observatori hall, an open and flexible space to new proposals, which starts with the exhibition "Artist Books".
