Es Baluard Opens Days with the Balearic Islands Consulate representatives

Baluard Museu d'Art Modern i Contemporani de Palma organized this workshop in order to approach the museum and the Consulate of the Balearic Islands. The aim is on the one hand to present the project of the Baluard Cultural Complex, the exhibition program as well as stablish future cooperation chances and paths of development between different countries.

Nekane Aramburu, Es Baluard’s director, launched this formula as a new working and constructing methodology together with members of the Balearic Islands Consulate. The meeting was attended by theConsul General of Morocco, Mohammed Harit; Sabine Lammers, consul of Germany; Daniel Samaniego, consul of Argentina; Ansgar Thüne, consul of Brazil; Anne-Dorte Kring, consul of Denmark; Ana Moreno, Mexico's consul; Rosa Maria Torrens, consul of Norway; Juan González de Chaves, consul of Peru; Dalibor Ciak, consul of the Czech Republic; Christian Louis Neukon, consul of Switzerland; Sari Keinänen, vice consul of Finland; Gillian Margaret, vice consul of the United Kingdom; Elaine Brannan, vice consul of Northern Ireland and Kimberly Marshall, US consular agent.

The conference held on Thursday, May 21 was a relaxed exchange and mutual understanding session. In addition, it was an approach between the museum and the different groups that make up the Balearic society sharing present and future work and leisure procedures.
