Maria Vadell Marí wins the 'Museum Es Baluard II Young Photograpers Competition'

Maria Vadell Marí, 13 years old, won the "Museum Es Baluard II Young Photographers Competition" with the proposal Untitled, at the left, which is inspired by the theme of spaces and alteration of reality, presented in the exhibition "Reproductibilitat 1.2. Fundación Aena + Baluard ".

Of the amount of works presented, the jury formed by Jaume Gual, photographer, Juan José Alfonso, professor of CEF (Center for Photographic Studies), Laura Ferrer, Culture and Society journalist in Diario de Ibiza, Pep Caparrós, from the technical area of Foto Ruano Pro, and Eva Cifre, coordinator in the Es Baluard's Area of Educational Development, has decided to reward the photography of Maria Vadell Marí and to chose the following finalists:

The prize awarded to Maria Vadell Marí consists of:

  • A digital compact camera courtesy of Foto Ruano Pro.
  • A series of exhibition catalogs of the museum about photography.
  • An Amics d'Es Baluard card for one year (allowing free entry, discounts, etc).
  • The diffusion of the winning photograph and its author in the museum's website and social networks.
