Signage project 'Boris' is chosen by Es Baluard and Escola d'Art Superior i Disseny

Es Baluard and Escola d'Art i Superior de les Illes Balears Disseny (EASDIB) selected "Boris" (by e Beatriz Tomás, Emma Nguema e Iris Luis), as the best project among the eight works made by the school.   Done by students of the subject "EDG22 - Environmental Design", taught by Professor Rafael Vaquer in 4th year Graphic Design, these eight projects were displayed on May 8 to June 12, after a group presentation in Es Baluard's space "Intermedi". This was a review of practical exercises and questioning and analysis of actual implementation of "The signage of the museum".

The museum and this school have assessed that "Boris" is a project of understandable and functional signage, which fits perfectly with the corporate identity of Es Baluard, and also have taken into account its material and typographical and chromatic values. In addition, members of the appraisal committee composed of heads of EASDIB and museum (which have also taken into account the feedback of social networks) have considered the project "Mar i Terra" deserves to be recognized as a finalist in the call.

The project developed, and the will to choose between the options proposed by the students from the EASDIB for future renovation project signage, obeys the will of Es Baluard bet support and creative and cultural industries of the Balearic Islands.

These new processes where training and integration into the labor market with national and international projection allow supply and demand change from innovative models.
