The educational department has always been taken into account this issue when designing the different actions and programmes, but it was after 2013 that research on the subject of gender became one of Es Baluard’s programme lines, and strategies were tackled on different levels to work on genders and transgenders issues, with all of their diversities (feminisms, new masculinities, trans-feminism, queer…), in greater depth.
Some of the more notable actions are seasons of round tables, stimuli for artistic projects, bibliographic specialisation in the museum shop and educational centres, among others.
