Sustainable landscapes

Sustainable Landscapes is an initiative developed in 2014 following the premises of the museum’s action plan. It is focused on constructing from the artistic historical of the works of art of the Collection, new spaces for reflection and action linked to current society and practices of sustainable awareness between culture and the environment.

In its Basis, Es Baluard defines the museum as a common good that must be a paradigm of respect for equality at all levels as well as the rights of living beings in order to contribute to a more sustainable and solidary planet, while maintaining respect for environmental resources and ecology based on education in civic values, social commitment and culture.

In past editions there was organized different formation programs and talks on landscaping, permaculture, environmental education, sustainability or ecofeminism through performances, activist art projects, installations, workshops, conferences and specific cycles.
