Latest creations by Marina Ramos at the Es Baluard store
On 24th September the Es Baluard gift shop presents the creations of Marina Ramos, in the context of the «Disseny i innovació a les Illes Balears» programme.
Born in Mallorca, Ramos studied Philosophy and Literature at the University of the Balearic Islands. Without her realising it, this discipline opened the doors of the visual arts to her. She began working by chance with a well-known master craftsman, which is where her passion for the craft of working with precious metals arose from. She experimented and started to use different natural stones, gems and other materials, mixing colours, textures and shapes. As a result of her work with glass, she obtained a licence as a registered artistic glazier and from that moment on made this passion her trade. She has taken part in different exhibitions, art shows and craft markets. She now has shop and workshop in Santanyí.
The jewels of Marina Ramos are exclusive pieces made entirely by herself. The delicacy of her designs reflects her love and passion for doing what she truly values.
